At The Class we value the importance, and potential of creating a community dedicated to rising talent and young professionals in the industry. This mission is guided by The Community Hubs, an online, partner-exclusive initiative that provides mentorship, peer-to-peer learning, and shared expertise.
Attendees are welcome to attend more than one Hub. Participants also receieve a discount to attend our annual Class Conference, pushing forward our goal to actively engage with rising talent in professional spaces.
About the Event
We want to create access to industry knowledge, mentorship, and dialogue for the next generation of PBSA professionals. By connecting emerging talent with experienced industry leaders, the Hubs support knowledge-sharing, professional development, and long-term industry resilience, ensuring diverse voices are heard and future leaders are equipped to shape a more collaborative and sustainable PBSA sector.
Our focus on rising talent is intentional. These voices are not typically represented at conferences and industry events, creating a gap in our ability to develop truly actionable next steps for the future. By actively engaging young professionals and recognising the value of their perspectives, we aim to unlock a more collaborative, inclusive, and purpose-driven PBSA sector.

Smart Living Community Awards
This year, we are introducing the Smart Living Community Awards for the first time, recognising collaboration, leadership, and demonstrable ESG impact across the student living ecosystem.
The awards span four categories: Smart Cross-Sector Collaboration, Smart Sustainability Initiatives, Smart Social Impact Initiatives, and Smart Leader of the Year.
How do the community awards work and why should you apply?
What sets these awards apart from others is their live presentation and voting format. Shortlisted nominees will present their initiatives directly to an audience of leading investors and operators from across the European PBSA sector.
Live Presentation & Real-Time Voting: Finalists pitch on stage, with attending investors and operators voting live for the initiatives that demonstrate the strongest sector impact.
Transparent Evaluation: Attendees of the event will have access to detailed information about each shortlisted initiative, ensuring credibility and recognition based on measurable impact.
Sector Visibility: Shortlisted initiatives will be featured in article format on the Smart Student Living webpage and promoted across social media prior to the Summit.
